Gillian, who plays the double seconds, is a wife and mother of four. She is one of the original band members.
She grew up on the islands of Trinidad and Tobago, listening to the rhythmic beat of many steel band performances. So, when the opportunity arose to join a steel drum band, she jumped at it.
Challenging as it is, she always makes an effort to squeeze the band into her busy schedule.
